The LBOT is a 100% state-owned and state-run bank with an organizational system that contains the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee, the head office and branches. To strengthen the Bank's supervisory system, a General Auditor system was set up in 1998, where the Auditing Office was made directly subordinate to the Board of Directors so that it can handle auditing matters in an independent and impartial spirit. The LBOT's managerial structure consists of the head office with 30 units, 148 domestic branches , and 8 overseas branches containing Los Angeles Branch, Singapore Branch, Hong Kong Branch, Shanghai Branch, New York Branch, Tianjin Branch, Wuhan Branch and Kuala Lumpur Representative Office. The board of directors has 15 directors, 5 executive directors are elected from each other, and one of them is the chairman of the board. Under the board of directors, there is an audit office with one chief auditor. The head office has 1 President(concurrently serving as the executive director), 5 Executive Vice-President, and 1 EVP & Chief Compliance Officer. There are 30 Units including Department of Corporate Banking, Department of International Banking, Department of Electronic Banking, Department of Treasury, Department of Consumer Banking, Department of Trusts, Department of Wealth Management, Department of Securities, Department of Planning, Department of Business Management, Department of Information Management, Department of Accounting, Department of Human Resources, Department of Credit Management, Department of Loan Management, Department of Risk Management, Department of Credit Analysis and Research, Department of Property Management, Secretariat, Department of General Affairs, Department of Compliance, Department of Ethics, Department of Cyber Security, Department of Insurance Agent, Department of Business, and 5 Regional Centers.
