To celebrate its 80th anniversary, the Bank hosted the “Do Good While You Shop” charity market in the Arts and Culture Corridor of its Head Office on September 3–4 of this year (2026). The event brought together social welfare organizations and local farmers, who set up stalls to showcase and sell charity merchandise alongside high-quality agricultural products. The event was held in conjunction with the “Witnessing Glory, Sustaining Excellence” badminton exhibition, drawing an enthusiastic response from staff and the community alike. Through these initiatives, participants actively supported social welfare organizations and local farmers, lending a strong charitable spirit to the Bank’s landmark 80th-anniversary celebrations.
Land Bank General Manager Chang Chih-Chien, along with senior executives, attended the event, visiting the booths and engaging enthusiastically with participating organizations. General Manager Chang stated that since its inception, the Bank has always forged deep connections with the land and people of Taiwan. By organizing lighthearted activities—such as the “Do Good While You Shop” charity market—the Bank aims to integrate sustainability into daily life, encouraging employees and the public to support social welfare organizations and local smallholders through their purchases, thereby transforming every act of kindness into a source of warmth.
The market featured a wide array of products, showcasing both the dedicated efforts of social welfare organizations and the rich diversity of local agriculture. The market also featured a point-collection scheme and gift redemption activities to make the experience more engaging. The event drew large crowds and featured a lively atmosphere, boosting the visibility of the charity market’s products while enabling participants to support worthy causes as they shopped for quality products. For this market, stalls were specially set up at the Arts and Culture Corridor of the Bank’s Head Office, in conjunction with the special badminton exhibition to enrich the visitor experience and event content, allowing the public to enjoy the dual appeal of a charity market and sports culture simultaneously. In addition, in alignment with the emphasis placed on preserving historical and cultural archives by the National Archives Administration, National Development Council, a special booth was set up at the venue to showcase the Bank’s valuable historical materials, highlighting key milestones and stories of the Bank’s eight-decade history.
This year marks the Bank’s 80th anniversary. In addition to providing professional and diverse financial services, the Bank will continue to roll out a series of initiatives, including blood drives and sports promotion events. Looking ahead, the Bank will continue to bring together the strengths of its customers, employees, and philanthropic partners to deepen its commitment to social responsibility. Through concrete actions, the Bank will deploy the positive influence of the financial sector, collaborating with the public to build a sustainable and brighter future.
