This year (2026) marks the 80th anniversary of Land Bank’s founding. To fulfill its commitment to sustainability and shared social prosperity, and in line with its founding principles of deepening community ties and giving back to society, the Bank has launched the “Land Bank 80 – Blood Drive Tour” campaign to convey warmth through concrete actions.
The first blood drive, organized by the Bank’s Headquarters, kicked off on July 1 at Taipei 228 Peace Park. In collaboration with the Taiwan Blood Services Foundation, the event promoted the spirit of “Sharing Health, Sharing Love.” Additionally, in response to the National Archives Administration under the National Development Council’s focus on cultural and historical archives, a special booth was set up at the venue to showcase the Bank’s valuable historical materials, highlighting key milestones and stories across its eight-decade history. The event buzzed with a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere. Land Bank's General Manager Chih-Chien Chang personally led four deputy general managers and department heads from the Headquarters to the venue to show their support. They also thanked the public for rolling up their sleeves to spread the idea that “it is more blessed to give than to receive.”
Following the successful conclusion of the inaugural event, subsequent blood drives will be held across Taiwan, totaling eight locations, including Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung. These blood drives are being jointly put together by Land Bank’s Headquarters and branches nationwide. In addition to encouraging its employees to take part in giving blood, the Bank also sincerely invites its customers and members of the public to join this purposeful campaign. Land Bank hopes to gather the kindness of people from all walks of life, convey hope through each bag of donated blood, and embody the spirit of compassion captured in the saying, “one bag of blood can save a life.” To thank the public for their enthusiastic response, blood donors at each of the drives will receive a convenience store gift voucher from the Bank (limited to 100 per drive), as a heartfelt token of appreciation for their generosity.
For eight decades since its founding, Land Bank has consistently upheld the philosophy of “giving back to society,” and has long been committed to public welfare and social engagement. Moving forward, the Bank will continue to convey the positive influence of a financial institution by organizing a range of activities, including organic contract farming sponsorship initiatives, charitable donations, and charity markets. By combining the efforts of its headquarters and branches, the Bank aims to deepen its community roots and work hand in hand with all sectors of society to build a better and more sustainable future.
